Day 2. Roncesvalles to Larrasoana 27km
Another long day. I have met a guy from Barcelona (Tony) , a lady from UK (Katherine) and lady from France (Gigi) we seem to walk together on n off all day.
Today I walked from beech forest to pine forest. Down hill was hard, already I see so many people suffering. Last 10km into Larrasoana I did on my own in the sun, region is famous for large 1.3 mtr black Falcon, I saw many! Municipal hostel for night was only $6 uro. Dinner $6uro and wine & 4 uro a bottle. Municipal”s have a curfew so I need to be in bed by 10pm.
Fatigue seems to vanish over bread n sausage.
Day
Day 3 – Larrasoana to Pamplona 16km
Just a short day. Feeling really good, yet others starting to suffer with knee hip ankle foot problems already! (knock on wood) I walked with Gigi all day and we laughed till our stomachs hurt. Hooked up with rest of crew just before Pamplona and added 2 Italian guys to the family, hot shower, done washing and hit the town. Crazy city, went to where they do running of the bulls, ate pinchos, drunk wine and danced in the streets. We were lucky it was a Saturday night so we got to experience city life in Pamplona
